Most colleges require regular participation in homework, assignments, and in interacting with other students in your online class. This obviously is just as time consuming as a traditional school.
The very few technical skills that are needed in order to take and online class are not very difficult. If you have a basic knowledge of the internet you will most likely not have any problems. You will basically only need a computer with a high speed connection, and email account, and a word processor.
So now you must see that there are many positives and negative for students who enroll in online colleges. There are more positives that usually come from the obvious convenience of online classes. The only negatives are usually that online schools usually require more self discipline.
